For Trans Awareness Week, we invite you to join the Society of Queer Momentum for a 1-hour webinar on "Understanding and Addressing Rising Anti-Trans Hate".
This event will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the rich history of queer organizing, meet like minded people, while also strategizing on ways to build organizing networks and resistance in the wake of the "1 Million March 4 Children" and other threats facing queer and trans communities.
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is an annual observance on November 20th that honours the memory of the transgender people who's lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
This is a pro-education and pro-inclusion rally followed by a memorial vigil, not a counterprotest, and we will be avoiding locations occupied by anti-SOGI protestors.
